Hot Pots

I am still playing catch up from this summer. We took a fun hike up the canyon by our home to some hot pots. It was really fun and the waterfall had a lot of water.

Of course, Keslee had to bring a long a baby to take care of.

Everyone had fun climbing behind the waterfall. There was a little room behind it and a hole in the rock where you could stick your head out through the waterfall.

The water was the perfect temperature and we had fun soaking.

The boys didn't think I would go under the cold waterfall.....they were pleasantly surprised.

The kids played downstream for a long time building things along the river.

Alyssa's Cake

This summer Alyssa wanted me to teach her how to make a cake. She looked through all my cake pans and decided to make a pig cake. I showed her how to hold the bag and we practiced on the counter and then she decorated the whole thing by herself. I helped her learn how to do things when she came to them, but I was so amazed at how good she was at decorating. She has a good future in cakes!

I think her favorite thing was all the frosting she ate. She loves frosting!

She named her pig "Buck Tooth Piggy".

After the cake was done, Paul had a fun time decorating the kids with frosting.

Some Summer Highlights

Here is a mix of fun things we did this summer. Audrey and her kids came for a few weeks and it was so much fun to see them. One of our favorite things this summer was BABY LILLY!

                     The boys and girls had a tank war when we were doing fireworks for the 4th of July.

Michael has gotten so big and he just loved Josh!

For Father's Day Paul got a huge sandcastle building kit and new church clothes.
