Alyssa's Baptism

November 12th was a very special day for our family. ALYSSA GOT BAPTIZED! She looked absolutely beautiful in her white dress. I wish all of you could have seen the smile she had on her face the whole night. She has such a sweet personality and we love her so much! She had a lot of friends and family there to support her. She is such a joy to have in our family! We are so proud of you Alyssa!

Daxton's Birthday

I am going to be posting out of order for awhile until I find the cable to our other camera. Daxton turned 13 on November 8th. We now officially have 2 teenagers. Dax is the one who designed his birthday cake I PROMISE! I do admit though that I am so proud of him for his awesome choice in cake decor and this was the funnest cake for me to make so far! Sorry to all you BYU fans. (not really) :) We went to Pizza Pie Cafe for his birthday dinner with our Grandparents and friends. We had a lot of fun!Go AGGIES!

Halloween

We finally have internet in our new house so I will be updating our blog! For Halloween Keslee wanted to be Merlia from a Barbie mermaid show. Daxton and Rylan wanted to be scary people. I have to admit that I miss the days when I could put them in a cute little hero costume and they loved it. Rylan is the skeleton with the bone mohawk and Dax is the gruesome thing. As you can see in the pictures, Keslee is not sure she likes the boy's costumes. They were nice and only tried to scare her a little.

Birthdays

Keslee is 7!!! She wanted a Hello Kitty party. She had fun picking out her table and plates. She found this crown that she just had to have and she wore it all night. She loved her cake and she got to eat the pink bow.
This is Karly. She is one of Keslee's best friends. She had to come and celebrate with us. You can see how much Keslee loves her.

The boys got Keslee a remote control car for her Strawberry Shortcake dolls. She loves it! It has gone to school almost everyday.

Keslee was so excited to get her American Girl Bitty Baby just like Isabelle's! Grandma is the best! She loves her so much and has to sleep with her every night. The first thing she told Isabelle on the phone was "now we can be twins". I love this girl!

This is the double stroller Keslee got from me and Paul for her new baby. She loves to take it everywhere. Keslee is such a great mommy!

Alyssa is 8!!! Alyssa picked out a cute lady bug table and plates. She wanted a dog cake that looked like her dog Sonny she used to have. We used Sonny's actual tag and Alyssa kept wanting to pick him up because he looked so fluffy. Alyssa was so funny, we could not eat this cake. This one had to go home so she could save it. She is so cute!

Alyssa got to pick out any American Girl Doll that she wanted. She picked out Julie Albright. She is so excited for it to come in the mail. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Bingham!

Alyssa was so excited to get her pillow pet! It is a cute dog that she did not stop cuddling the whole night.

Paul is 40!!! Daxton found this idea for the toilet cake online and we had to try it! It turned out great! It was so funny to see Paul's reaction when he saw the tootsie roll "poop". Priceless! The kids loved giving him all of his "getting old presents". For his table, everything was black and covered in geting old jokes.

Here the kids gave Paul his "Geezer Glasses", "Snore Stopper", and "Bald Man's Comb". These will come in handy with Paul getting so old.

Here Daxton grossed us all out by eating the "poop" right out of the toilet. BOYS!

Calf Creek

We went down to Calf Creek over Labor Day. This has been a Bingham family tradition since we were little girls. My parents found this campground and we have come back almost every year since. One of the funnest part of this trip is always watching the kids run up and down the river playing, cooling off in the water and reading a good book while you sit in the middle of a beautiful river. We came down with my parents and Natalie and her 3 kids.

Amanda made this delicious piece of cake for us. She is so cute and crafty. Playing in the mud and building things is always one of the highlights of this trip.

We hiked to the Lower Falls this year. We have not done this hike since Daxton was 10 months old. The trail is not as fun as our usual hikes, but we wanted everyone to see this beautiful amazing waterfall. It was cool when we got to the falls and about 7:00 at night, but the kids all just jumped right in.

We also hiked to the Upper Falls. This of course is one of our favorite hikes and the kids all did it and did great. Grandma pulled out the wet bandanas for all the kids and by the time we got to the upper part of the falls, we were all ready to jump in the water. Everyone but the youngest 3 kids and Grandma jumped in. Thanks mom for being so willing to "watch the kids". The kids all made up new jumps and named them. When we went down to the actual Upper Falls, we all jumped in again and swam around. The kids climbed up the moss and we all got into a huge mud fight. The teenage boys ended up winning. SHOCKER!

Here are a few more pictures of us just hanging out in the river.

Calf Creek would never be complete without the traditional Care Bear races. My sisters and I used to do this every year as little girls and it is so fun to see our kids and parents still love to race the same bears down the river over and over again.

It is so fun to see these teenage boys chasing little brightly colored bears down the river. Who would've guessed?
