Spring Break

Paul and I got to go on an amazing get away together this year for Spring Break! We had so much fun. Our first stop was in Las Vegas. We got there really late at night and we were just passing through. Our first hotel was by Freemont St. and let's just say we had to move to the other end of town. When we got there, the streets were filled with shady looking characters and cop cars were driving by every few minutes. We went to our filthy room and Paul thought he turned on the AC while we went to see the Freemont St. experience. When we got back, it was actually the heat because this hotel didn't have AC. What!?!? That's right....in Las Vegas? we opened the window that did not have a screen and decided that it was time to move. 20 minutes later, we were happily settled into a cool, clean room.

The next day we woke up and drove to LA. We went to the Getty Museum. It was so beautiful! The Museum itself was art. I loved the gardens.

This bed was one of my favorite things.
We then went to Hollywood to see the sights. We went to the Grauman Chineese Theatre to see the handprints of the stars. Here is Paul with Marilyn Monroe and then with the Harry Potter cast. They even stuck thier wands in the cement.

Paul thought it was funny that out of all the hot Hollywood men, Cary Grant was my favorite. All I need to say is "Noth by Northwest, Father Goose, That Touch of Mink and of course An Affair to Remember" All you girls out there understand. :)
We walked on the Hollwood Walk of Fame for a little bit and Paul's favorite was Michael Jackson. We took this picture for Jake.

We then went to Santa Monica, Malibu and Muscle Beach. It was so fun to be in ocean. We also went and saw a taping of the Jay Leno Show. It was really fun and interesting.

One of the best days was Magic Mountain. We seriously thought we were going to die on this roller coaster. I can't even tell you how crazy it is. I will tell you that Paul was way more scared that I was. :)

After lunch we went on the Batman ride a couple of times right in a row and I got so sick. I of course was not about to quit. I LOVE roller coasters! We did have to take a small break after each ride and I had to visit the ladies room a few times, but we kept going and had so much fun!
This was Paul's idea. You should have seen the looks I got by people walking by. Funny!
We spent the last two days at the beach!!!!! It was so warm and sunny. We read magazines, took naps, went for walks, played in the water and of course Paul made a traditional sand castle. He was not too proud of it because he did not have very good tools, but it was cute to watch him!
We went and spent some time on the beach we got married on last August. It was so romantic and fun to just be alone and remember that GREAT day! It was so hard to have this trip end. We slept in, went to dinner every night and just laughed and enjoyed each other.

Rylan's Birthday

Rylan had another great birthday! I can't beleive he is 10!!!

He got a new DSI game from Grandpa and Grandma Bingham, money from Grandma and Grandpa Daybell, a new moutain bike from us and tons of fun stuff from his friends! He was grinning all day!
He wanted his cake to be a great big R with purple, yellow and white stripes going across it.
For his friend party we took a bunch of friends to Progressive Power Tumbling. Rylan was in heaven with all his crazy friends. All of his friends are just like him, so you can imagine that I was just hoping no one would get hurt. They had so much fun. They have so many trampolines, foam pits and a rock climbing wall.
Rylan has started taking tumbling lessons and within 2 months has gone from beginner to advanced. I guess his no fear attitude is perfect for tumbling.

Keslee loved jumping with baby Lilly.
